Consistent performance
The heated tunnel, with 4, 6 or 8 independent temperature-controlled curing zones, achieves a thermally uniform atmosphere with IR heat panels and consequent convection. The individual heating zones can be programmed for specific drying or curing profiles, creating temperatures up to 320°C. Not only does the Curano II provide optimal process uniformity, it also ensures a safe working environment in case of solvent based flammable materials.
Monitoring and controlling the curing process
The Curano II offers exact control of all heating zones and total performance consistency. An
OMRON PLC and 21.5” touchscreen are used to program, run and display each profile. Software permits unlimited temperature profiling in real time, continuous process status updates and program storage. The Curano II offers a high degree of flexibility and profile control, enabling the user to run a large variety of products with fewer profiles. Uniform heating and high repeatability will be maintained under various load conditions - including load / no load.
Designed for purpose
The Curano II series curing ovens are designed for easy integration with Nordson’s conformal coating and dispensing systems and include operation friendly features like: automatic width adjustment of the pin chain conveyor (optional) and 120 mm top and bottom clearance for tall and complex PCB architectures. The conveyor is SMEMA-compatible for a smooth integration into your existing production line.
